Bylaw 2059-24 to rezone from UR Urban Reserve to R4 High Density Residential 

You are invited to provide input on Bylaw 2059-24, a proposed bylaw to redistrict a portion of NE-13-46-24-4 (at approximately 56 Avenue and 40 Street) from UR Urban Reserve to R4 High Density Residential to allow for the subdivision and development of a multi-unit residential building. The R4 district allows for a range of multi-unit residential development, including townhomes, fourplexes, and low-rise apartment buildings. Bylaw 2059-24 received first reading at the Monday, March 25, 2024 regular Council meeting. You can find the Council information package at https://wetaskiwin.civicweb.net.

A public hearing for this bylaw will be held:

TIME: 9 a.m.
LOCATION: Wetaskiwin City Hall, or via electronic video conference.

If you wish to address Council on this matter, you must register to speak by contacting Planning and Development no later than 12 p.m. on Friday, April 5, 2024.

If you are unable to attend the public hearing, you may submit written comments to be presented to Council at the public hearing. Written submissions must be received by 12 p.m. on Friday, April 5, 2024, and may be delivered to Wetaskiwin City Hall, emailed to elisabeth.hill@wetaskiwin.ca, or mailed to:
