Arena parking lot

Better/more signage at the arena/high school parking lot. Showing the direction of traffic and the how to park. Perhaps arrows on the light poles showing the direction, ribbon or some barricades between the light posta so that people are not triple parking and actually parking in a straight line. The winter is the worst for offenders but the direction causes issues year round.

I love walking at By The Lake Park but we need to update the information signs that are around the park. Some are falling down.

Skunks

The city is being infested with skunks. The city expects citizens to pay to have a private agency to remove them. The city won’t even supply a trap.This is not an animal that is only on my property. It is a community problem. The city should be dealing with the skunks. I know people who cannot afford to pay privately. Does the city deal with dead skunks? Maybe that is the solution to prevent private citizens from being extorted into doing a job that the city should be doing.

Add benches to the dog park

Some disabled people come to dog park to give their dog exercise. Would be nice for them to have a place to sit.

Create more bylaws to keep the vagrants in check and hire more bylaw enforcement officers if necessary to do the job.

Wetaskiwin needs more bylaws to deal with problem vagrants. If there were bylaws in place that would trespass or warrant a restraining order to vagrants who cause problems or break the law or bylaws from being with in the city limits, the city would be a safer place. On a positive note, there would be less crime, tax paying residents would be able to walk anywhere in the city without being afraid of being accosted by a vagrant, businesses would do better because people would not be afraid to enter them, the cost of cleaning up the damages and waste city wide would be reduced.
